The ASIS Group Quality Quiz 2014 Organized for Students ICSE/ISC
Encouragement of our student’s abilities and brilliance is one of the prime objectives of the school. Apart from teaching and learning it is ethically the responsibility of teachers to conduct activators that would bring forth the talent and brilliance of the students.
For the overall development of a child our school organized a Quality Quiz Competition on 20th September 2014 in the ASIS campus itself wherein grade 3rd, 4th and 5th participated with full enthusiasm. The quiz was conducted in 5 rounds and these rounds were designed fabulously keeping in mind the knowledge and interest of the students.
Teams were given the names of the four special cities of Gujarat Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat & Gujarat. 1st Round was a warm-up round wherein questions related to various subjects were asked with the given options. 2nd and 3rd round was about audio and visual round wherein various historical monuments were shown on screen and in the audio round they had to guess the movie from the song played, which children really enjoyed. To create more curiosity there was a round related to current affairs wherein mainly questions were asked based on the government of India and sports.
Finally, to end the show there was a rapid-fire round in which mainly questions were related to their own city i.e; Bhavnagar, State Gujarat, and of course country India. The audience was also not kept unattended and for them also few questions were framed keeping in mind their involvement.
It was a very healthy competition and great efforts were presented by students in the form of an Anchoring part starting with a welcome speech and ending with a thankful note.”
