The ASIS Group Founders’ Day 2016. CBSE, ICSE, GSEB, Pre-primary
Whenever we come across a beautiful building we praise its magnificence and beauty. But this beautiful building stands there only because of its rock-solid foundation. Similarly, any organization or institution stands tall and high due to the strong foundation stone laid by its founder.
Every year 26 November is celebrated as ‘Founder’s Day’ at ASIS to celebrate and pay respect to the founder of this organization which has over the years carved a niche in the field of education in Bhavnagar. ASIS, which started with a small group of teachers and students, has today become the front runner in imparting quality and holistic education to all the sections of the society today in Bhavnagar. It also boasts to be the only organization that caters to all the three boards (GSEB, CBSE, and ICSE) in Bhavnagar, and this is only due to the efforts of Mrs. Amarjyoti Gohil, the founder as well the director of The ASIS group.
The program was hosted by the Student Council members mainly, the Head boy, the Head Girl, and the Vice Head girl who spoke about the upcoming events. There was a beautiful and yummy cake waiting on stage to be cut by Amarjyoti Madam and when she cut the cake the entire campus echoed with huge applause by everyone.
Students of class 9 as well as 12 performed some beautiful dance moves on stage and mesmerized the audience. Amarjyoti Madam seemed to be overwhelmed by the love showered on her from all around and she even performed a few moves with the students on the stage which made the entire crowd hysteric. After this, our Principal, Rajendra Sir gave a very emotional speech dedicated to Amarjyoti Madam, and then the crowd dispersed.
But this seemed to be just the start of that day’s celebrations as there was some finger biting food waiting for the students at the various stalls set up by teachers around the campus. There was Pav Bhaji, Pani puri, Samosas, Noodles, and many other dishes, and not to forget cold drinks that students could have to their heart’s content.
The day ended with students as well as teachers having a blast of a time singing, dancing, and eating with their friends.
