QUALITY QUIZ 2018 The ASIS Group ICSE/ISC Student

A quiz is a form of a game or mind sport in which the players attempt to answer questions correctly. In some countries, a quiz is also a brief assessment used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, or skills.

Keeping this in mind we had organized a quiz for the children of standard I and II of Amarjyoti Saraswati International School on 28TH of November. The competition took place at the ASIS hall (second floor). The competition started with a welcome speech. The competition was conducted by Ms. Shraddha. She started the competition by reading out the rules and regulations to all the participants of the four different teams.

This year we had team Sun, Moon, Star, and Earth. The first round was The Warm Up round. In this round, we had three questions of ten marks each from three different subjects i.e. English, Mathematics, and Science. The second round was The Visual round consisting of two questions for each team of ten marks each. In the visual round, we asked them to identify the world’s famous monuments and dance forms. The third round was The Audio round of three questions for each team of ten marks each. In this round, they had to identify the voice/song. The final round was the trickiest of all. It was The Rapid Fire round; each team was asked eight questions from different subjects of one mark each. Students performed brilliantly and the difference in the points of each of these teams was very minor. To maintain a lively atmosphere, in between each round we had a question for the audience. Our audience was very enthusiastic when questions were thrown at them. All the questions asked to them were answered correctly. To keep them motivated we distributed chocolates to the children who answered correctly.

The competition was full of learning as not only the participants participated but also the audience participated with full energy.
