Quality quiz 2015 for Std 6th To 8th ASIS Group ICSE/ISC

Exuberating, Motivating, Enlightening, and engaging would describe the Quiz competition of ASIS. The competition was aimed at developing the knowledge and excellence base among the students, through a healthy and highly motivating meet. The students crammed themselves up with a lot of general knowledge for the quiz. Amar Jyoti Saraswati International School focuses on activity-based learning, and to keep up with standards, a quiz competition was held on 19^th September 2015 at its ground hall between 8:30 am to 10:00 am

The semi-final of this quiz program was conducted for each student in the classroom itself wherein a worksheet, based on multiple-choice questions consisting of general knowledge and current affairs was conceded, and eventually the final result was proclaimed. Four teams flaring with five students in each were declared for the final round.

The teams were named as-COLUMBIA, SKYLAB, ATLANTIS, AND NEW HORIZON

Our Quiz Masters- UNNATI JOSHI, KAJAL LOCHAB, AND MR. EDWARD GEORGE bombarded the students with questions. Mazes of invited and interesting questions were asked, testing each aspect of the educational knowledge base like current affairs, famous tag lines of advertisement, historical questions, audio/visual rounds, and arrangements in chronological order. Five specialized sets of rounds were laid out for the spoken delivery of the quiz.

A PowerPoint presentation was prepared to export the questions along with a Rapid-fire Round which conjured excitement for participants as well as the audience. Each team put in a wholehearted effort but conclusively the time was up. The scoreboard showed the winning teams in descending order. The Columbia aced the first position while Skylab stood second. Atlantis and New Horizon showed an amazing performance and great spirit by positioning themselves as the third and fourth.
