Palace Day Celebrated at Nilambaug Palace
On July 19, 2024, students from Grade 8 and 11 gathered at Nilambaug Palace to celebrate Palace Day, organized by the INTACH Bhavangar. The event commenced with a briefing by Brijeshwari Mam, who explained the significance of Palace Day and provided insights into the rich history of Bhavnagar’s palaces.
Students were treated to a guided tour of Nilambaug Palace, exploring its various rooms and even the historical swimming pool. Throughout the tour, they learned about Bhavnagar’s cultural heritage and the role of its palaces in shaping local history.
The event not only offered a firsthand experience of Bhavnagar’s architectural marvels but also enriched students’ understanding of their city’s cultural legacy.
