NWR Declamation Competition 2019 ASIS Group ISCE/ISC

Amar Jyoti Saraswati International (ASIS) hosted Declamation Competition of North-West Region, Gujarat Category: 1. (ISC) and Category: 2. (ICSE) on Tuesday, 20th of August at ASIS school auditorium Bhavnagar Eight schools participated in the senior category and eleven schools participated in the junior category. The event saw healthy and dynamic participation including our school (ASIS) in both categories.

The panel of distinguished judges included Mrs. Dipa Vidyasan and Mrs. Nandita Shah both of them are successful professionals in the field of English teaching Senior English teacher of ASIS with the Head boys Virpalsinh Zala and Rajveersinh Gohil supported by the principal Mr. Rajendrasinh Gohil and the team of teaching and non-teaching staff gave a strong back bone for the event to be a grand success. 

The principal of SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST SCHOOL spent his precious time to witness the event. Our beloved Founders Amar Jyoti mam, principals of Amar Jyoti Saraswati Vidyalaya, and Silver Bells Public School provided their precious time to initiate the event and encourage the participants.

The participants took optimum initiative to imitate different characters like Mother Teresa, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Winston Churchill, Even certain characters stressed on Women Empowerment, Racial Discrimination, Stress in Peers. They did not leave the actors and actresses untouched.

  •  From the Senior Category
    • Nisarg Patel of LML School bagged the 1st prize
    • Ashley Parekh of ASIS bagged the 2nd prize
    • Krishena Bhatt of VAPI PUBLIC School secured the 3rd prize
  •  From the junior category
    • Abhi Patel of Jamnabai Narsee School stood 1st
    • 2nd prize is shared by Keya Kakkad of Zydus School & Aadish Seth of St. Paul School, Rajkot
    • 3rd position is bagged by Huma Mandan of LML School

The event ASISC – NWR Declamation stood out from other events. It provided a variety of platforms and a great exposure to all the witnesses to earn great learning. All the school representatives and participants were rewarded with certificates, medals, and a special token of appreciation from Amar Jyoti mam. By noon the event got over and everyone dispersed after lunch.

A grand success!!! Long live ASIS!!
