Independence Day | 15th August 2022
Our main goal in celebrating Independence Day is to educate our young generation. On this day we put aside our cultural differences and come together as true Indians.
Like every year this year also, our ASIS group of schools celebrated Independence Day on 15 August 2022. On this day the sense of happiness and pride could be clearly seen in the hearts of all, as we celebrated our 76th Independence day.
The program started with school prayer to invoke devine presence. Our honorable managing trustees along with the invited dignitaries, Principals, Vice Principals, and all the teaching and non-teaching staff were part of this glorious celebration, this bright and sunny morning.
The students council of SBPS with a slow March welcomed the guests. The guest of honour along with Captain sir and Amarjyoti maam hoisted the flag accompanied by Mr. Rajendrasinh Gohil principal of ASIS and Vice principal Shrashti Mathur, as it fluttered in the clear blue sky, and national anthem was sung. Song and dance performance programmes were presented by the students.
A class 12th student also gave an in-depth speech emphasizing on ‘What independence means to the youth of today.’ We felicitated the students who brought laurels to the institution by winning prizes awards and rewards .
Vice Principal Bhumi ma’am in her vote of thanks note said the nation’s future rests on the youngsters and their power to influence the country. Today Five other countries celebrate their Independence Day on August 15 along with India. They are Bahrain, North Korea, South Korea and Liechtenstein.
