Gujarati Poem Recitation Competition AJSV 2015 ASIS Group
The Indian literature has been recognized worldwide for its depth, emotions, music, and heartwarming storylines. Poetry has been an important part of it. Gujarati poets like zaverchand meghani and vir narmad have enriched Indian literature with their immense contributions.
To give the students some exposure and with a motive to make them aware of the Gujarati literature, On 31st October 2015, there was a “Gujarati poem recitation” held in our school Amar Jyoti Saraswati Vidhyalaya’s hall. Students from Std. 5th to 9th actively participated in the competition.
Mrs. Prabhatba Jethva and Mrs. Laxmiba sarvaiya were cordially invited as judges to grace the occasion with their presence. The competition started at 9:00 A.M. All the participants recited the poems enthusiastically and some of them literally mesmerized the judges with their singing and articulation. All the teachers on duty played their part to perfection and made sure that the event was a success. The competition ended with the judges giving advice to the participants.
