Eye for an I: Celebrating Talent and Individuality at ASIS
On the 24th of August, 2024, our school hosted the much-anticipated personality contest, “Eye for an I.” This contest was designed to provide a platform for students to showcase their unique personalities, talents, and creativity. The event was graced by the presence of two esteemed judges: Miss Anushka Singha and Mr. Niren Pandya, both of whom have made significant contributions to the fields of education and personality development.
The competition was divided into three engaging rounds:
- Creative Introduction:
In the first round, participants were asked to introduce themselves in the most creative manner possible. This round allowed them to express their individuality, confidence, and eloquence. It set the stage for what was to come, with students from Class 9 to 12 presenting themselves in ways that ranged from poetic monologues to dynamic performances. - Abstract Painting:
The second round tested the participants’ artistic skills and their ability to interpret and express abstract concepts. Armed with brushes and colors, the contestants created paintings that reflected their inner thoughts and emotions. This round was a true display of imagination and artistic flair, with each participant bringing something unique to their canvas. - You – Beyond and Beneath:
The final round was the most introspective and revealing. Participants were asked to delve deep into their personalities and share their thoughts on the theme “You – Beyond and Beneath.” This round aimed to explore the contestants’ self-awareness, depth of thought, and their understanding of what lies beyond the surface of their identities. Participants were assigned with a task to perform, to showcase their witty side and courage.
