1st ASIS & SBPS 5-A Side Ever Rolling Football Tournament

1^st ASIS & SBPS 5- A SIDE EVER ROLLING FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT ASSOCIATED WITH BHAVNAGAR DISTRICT FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (ORGANISED BY ASIS &SBPS) ON 28^th TO 30^th JANUARY

The first time in Bhavnagar 5-a side tournament was organized by Amarjyoti Saraswati International School and Silver Bells public school association with Bhavnagar district football association. The tournament took place on Silver Bell’s public school ground. The tournament was in two age groups, which were above 16 and under 16. 9 teams participated in under 16 from Bhavnagar and 15 teams participated in the above 16 categories. One team participated from the PORBANDAR district.

In the Under 16 age group finals were played in between St Marys Gujarati and Silver Bells public school in which St Marys School Gujarati won by 3 goals to nil. St Marys School was the winner of the 1^st Amarjyoti Saraswati International School & Silver Bells public school football tournament cup & Silver Bells public school stood runner-up in the tournament.

In the above 16 age group finals were played between the Young FC team from Porbander and Scorpion B in which Young FC won the match in a penalty shootout by 3-2. Young FC was the winner of the 1st Amarjyoti Saraswati International School & Silver Bells public school football tournament cup & Scorpion B stood as runner-up in the tournament.

The best player of the tournament for the Under 16 age group was selected from St Marys School, Mr. Subham Chuahan, and from the above 16 age group, Mr. Ronit Khodwa from Young FC of Porbander district. Both the players showed outstanding performances in their respective age groups.

This 5 side Football Tournament was conducted for the first time in Bhavnagar district on such a grand scale which was concluded prize distribution and closing ceremony.
